CNC Wooden Dinosaur Puzzle: This fun multi-body part shows some basic but powerful and efficient surfacing techniques. This part was designed for use in a CNC Cutter (e.g. Laser Cutter) using a material such as Wood, Plastic, Cardboard, etc. The main goal was to model the Dinosaur as a single body, then slice it into several sections along the body order to extract the various Puzzle Pieces. The advantage of using this method is that each Puzzle Piece updates automatically with each model change, saving time and reducing errors. This part has examples of curve driven patterns and uses mirroring to maintain symmetry. Other features include Projected Curve, Boundary Surface, Offset Surface, Delete Face, Thicken, Planar Surface, Move/Copy Bodies, Trim Surface, Combine, and Delete Body.
